THE RESOLUTION WILL BE TELEVISED

The new year is off to a slow start, but it is certainly a start, and I’m actually very optimistic for twenty-twelve. 

MUSIC OF THE WEEK

I’m heading home to NYC for Christmas this week and I do a lot of bouncing around when I’m back in the city. Catching up with family and friends in such a short peroid is a real exercise in time management - but well worth the effort...or so I keep telling myself. Having a great playlist along for the ride is almost as vital as a warm coat this time of year in New York, so here’s a sample of what I'll be rocking in my car/ipod as I zip through town.

Who better to remix Sander Van Doorn & Laidback Luke’s “Who’s Wearing The Cap” than the hat maestro himself. A-Trak referred to the remix on his blog as, “an exercise in making dance stabs funky.” The finished version of the record dropped today and here it is:

ICE CUBE CELEBRATES THE EAMES

Yes you read the title correctly. Cube’s got a thing for modern masters of design, Charles and Ray Eames…Such a G, through and through.

Here's a shot of my Eames Lounge. I've had it for about two years and I swear this thing looks better with each passing day.
